Hobbies: Sparring, playing with his brother, going to the theater, drawing silly pictures (hopefully eventually they'll make Takashi laugh!), fighting, catching bugs in his mouth

Mannerisms: Prone to dramatic episodes of manly crying, gets distracted by moving lights, gives only the manliest of hugs, gets stir-crazy when kept indoors, 

Likes: being challenged, travelling to exotic locales, cuddling, festival food, climbing trees, being called cool, playing with little kids, muscular men, "fun" people, Kaibun

Dislikes: Harsh words, staying inside all day, Storms, disappointing Takashi, being scolded, having to hold still for long periods of time, reading (he usually bugs Takashi or one of his teammates to do the reading for him if they're around), baths, people who hurt his family

Inspirations: His little brother Takashi, people in the performing arts (especially dancers)

Life Goals: Be cool and strong enough that Takashi will look up to him!

- He tries really hard to be polite, as he was taught to be, but still tends to come off as rather brash and overbearing due to lacking an "indoor voice" and any sense of personal space.
- Generally he is quite optimistic and seemingly unflappable. However, there is one thing that can shake him off his positive foundation: Takashi's harsh words of disapproval.
- It can take a lot of work to get him to do something he doesn't like doing (such as reading or bathing), at least, to get him to put actual effort in and NOT do it half-assed.
- He is very gullible and tends to believe what people say at face-value and very often has trouble detecting sarcasm.
- He is quite forgetful and will often forget the names of people he has met (or even the fact that he HAS met them before) if he doesn't see them extremely frequently.
- He gets bored very easily if he isn't allowed to run wild and free, and when he's bored he is whiny and hard to deal with. This makes formal occasions with him very difficult.
- He's not very good at reading or understanding his own emotions, his instincts just kind of deal with his pent-up anger for him by being a bit more rough with people or a bit less helpful. He doesn't realize what he's doing really, but seeing the look on somebody's face after he's very roughly dropped them on the ground from carrying them...he feels quite pleased.
- His understanding of "death" is pretty weak and because of this he has really no qualms with being incredibly brutal in killing enemies to the point where it doesn't really seem to affect him at all. In fact, he often goes looking for praise for a "job well-done" when he kills an enemy.

-While he bears no personal ill will toward the Asukai, he generally avoids spending time around them, thinking they're rather stuffy and boring.
- He loves to spar and treasures every match, no matter the outcome. He is even in the habit of thanking people after they've beaten him soundly, as it means he can train more and have another exciting fight with them. The fact that this reaction persists even when his injuries go beyond just some cuts and bruises indicates that he has a rather high pain threshold. Either that or he's too dumb to notice.
- He is actually terrified of thunderstorms, but does (poorly) try to hide it and play it off like it doesn't bother him at all.
- He is very bad at gauging people's ages relative to his own, especially with people that are very small in stature.
- He has a voracious appetite and will eat pretty much any food item sat in front of him at any time.
- He is known to zone out (and sometimes even ACTUALLY fall asleep) when a conversation/speech/etc doesn't interest him.
- After the timeskip, he becomes less preoccupied with "playtime" and more interested in protecting his family and the village. He still has a jolly old time of training and sparring, but now the stakes are higher and his goals beyond just enjoying himself.
- He is extremely dyslexic, which is why he usually bugs other people to read things for him.
